ADMISSIONS TO NURSERY
Greenfield Primary Academy have a school Nursery for children who are 3 years old. If you have a child who will be 3 before the 31st August of the current year, then they are entitled to 15 hours of free Nursery education from the September of that year.
We manage our own Nursery admissions, so if you wish your child to attend our Nursery, please complete the application form and return it to school as soon as possible. It is never to early to apply and we will keep the application on file until your child is 3 and we can offer the place
Our Nursery currently offers part time provision, running from Monday - Friday in the afternoons from 12.15pm-3.15pm. However we are in the process of consulting parents about full time provision, and whether there is a demand for it. ADMISSIONS INTO RECEPTION CLASS
Applications for a place in our Reception class is done through the Tameside MBC, School Admissions Portal. If you have a child who is 4 before the 31st August then you can apply before the 15th January of that year for their place to start in the September.
If you do not apply before the 15th January you may not receive the first choice of Primary School for your child.
