CONSULTATION OPEN: Proposal to change the age range of Greenfield Primary Academy

Dear Parents/Carers, Partners and Stakeholders,
In June 2025 we wrote to you in order to consult on a proposal for Greenfield Primary Academy, Queen Street, Hyde SK14 1QD to make an application for ‘Significant Change’ to the Department for Education (DfE). This was to extend its age range from 3-11 years to 2-11 years from September 2025. The original consultation is included below.
We are writing to you as we are making an amendment to our original ‘Significant Change’ application to the Department for Education and as a result need to consult again on a change of date to that originally proposed.
The amended proposal for Greenfield Primary Academy:
- To change the age range from 3-11 years to 2-11 from September 2026

This consultation will begin on Monday 13th October and will end at 5pm on Monday 3rd November 2025.
