World Book Day

Today our EYFS children had a lovely time celebrating World Book Day. We came to school in our cosy pyjamas and enjoyed listening to stories together in the library whilst sipping chocolate milk, making it feel extra special.
The children also made their own colourful bookmarks to take home.
Following the children’s interest in finding caterpillars outside yesterday, we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and then created our own hungry caterpillars in the playdough area.
It was a wonderful day celebrating stories, creativity and a love of reading.
