Summer 2 Week 6

As part of our phase one phonics the children have been recapping and adding to their previous learning from the past term.

In maths the children have been making a pattern using two objects e.g red bear/blue bear and bear/car. The children used pictures to support them in completing the pattern.

In identiplay we have been focusing on ‘The Farm’. During this activity the children are encouraged to follow a series of one-step instructions modelled by the adult. The children can then begin to implement this within the classroom during play.

Our main focus during our afternoon session was decorating fairy cakes. The children adding icing and sprinkles to their cake before enjoying.

Zakariyya was our star of the week for engaging well in learning activities. Well done Zakariyya!
