Summer 2 Week 3

As part of our phase one phonics the children have been focusing on matching object to object.

In maths we have been focusing on numbers 6-10. We have explored these through song, interactive games and using tactile numbers.

In identiplay we have been focusing on playdough.The children are encouraged to follow a series of one-step instructions modelled by the adult. The children can then begin to implement this within the classroom during play.

In our afternoon sessions our main focuses were sensory food play and water play. The children had lots of fun exploring cold textures, filling and pouring and exploring cause and effect using balloons.

Zakariyya was our star of the week persevering when trying to communicate a request to an adult. Well done Zakariyya!
