Summer 2 - Week 3

Wow what and incredibly hot week we have had! We have tried our best to access the outdoors as safely as possible however due to the extreme heat this has been very minimal however we have made up for it with lots of ice pop treats!
This week in maths we have been looking at dividing by 2. The children have developed a very strong understanding that dividing by is the same as sharing out equally. All children have got involved and really give it a go.
It was assessment week in English where we have observed all children's understanding and comprehension of what they have been reading.
Our topic subjects this week have been, Art, cooking and computing, unfortunately we have not been able to complete or PE session following guidance to avoid physical activities. However in Art the children have used lots of different objects from around the classroom to make their own prints in paint.
Cooking we have made our own burritos which was lots of fun and very messy! In computing the children have continued with their E books adding more to their already completed stories.
