Summer 1 Week 6

As part of our phase one phonics the children have been recapping their learning from this half term.

In maths, we have continued working on our numbers 1-10. The children have accessed a range of activities in order to recognise and order our numbers 1-10.

In identiplay, we have been focusing on blocks. The children are encouraged to follow a series of instructions modelled by the adult e.g “green on blue ”. The children can then begin to implement this within the classroom during play.

In our afternoon sessions we have been focusing on making smoothies. The children have used a communication board to help them choose what ingredients they would like. Mrs Bibi then set up a smoothie stall and the children had an opportunity to taste their creations.

Dimiyana was our star of the week for beginning to form some pre-writing shapes. Well done Dimiyana!
