Spring 2 - Week 4

Date: 22nd Mar 2026 @ 8:12pm

In English this week we continued our work on traditional tales this time focusing on 'The three little pigs'. The children had fun retelling the story using puppets and remembering the repeated phrases that the different characters said. Some children even had a go at writing their own 'Three little pigs' story.

In Maths we began looking at time. The children were great at recalling the different things we do at daytime and night time as well as recalling the different things we do in the morning to the afternoon. As a class we looked at the key vocabulary of digital and analogue time and the children enjoyed exploring analogue clocks. Some children even had a go at making their own clocks.

We continued our exploration of sensory circuits within our PE sessions, made Eid biscuits and learnt about why we celebrate as well as making cards. In Science this week we looked at teeth. We saw how our teeth are different to animals teeth and also how animals teeth are different to each others. We also looked at how to take care of our teeth.

The ponies were back and now the children are learning how to lead the ponies around outside.

We hope our families have had a wonderful Eid and look forward to our final Spring week before half term.
