Mummifying a tomato

Date: 6th May 2026 @ 11:19am

This week we have mummfied a tomato to learn how Ancient Egyptian mummified the dead. We cut and scooped out the inside of the tomato then used salt and bicarobate soda to put inside. The Ancient Egyptians used natron to cover the bodies once they have removed the organs to help preserve the body as they believed in life after death.
