We have been learning all about the rainforests of the world. We began our topic with a knowledge harvest. We then used maps and atlases to locate the 5 main rainforests. We learnt the names of them, the main features of a rainforest and the layers of the rainforest. We have also learnt about the animals that inhabit rainforests and how deforestation is affecting them and us.
