Autumn 1 - Week 4

This week in Sunshine has been a busy one!

We have looked at the song '5 little men in a flying saucer' this week. The children have enjoyed singing the song and watching the aliens fly away each time! They have been exploring aliens in their other maths work too; exploring where the aliens might be hiding, counting the right amount of them and even making their own aliens and flying saucers! 

For our topic 'Me and My family' the children have explored dressing up this week and thinking about what they could be a doctor, an explorer or even a pirate! 

In cooking we have been making sandwiches. The children used the communication board to choose their topping and make their sandwiches they had a go at spreading the ingredients on and even cutting the sandwich in half. The children very much enjoyed eating their sandwiches after too!
