Autumn 1 - Week 3
Date: 18th Sep 2026 @ 4:17pm
We have had another fantastic week in moonbeam the children have worked so incredibly hard!
In English the children have been working toward their non-fiction books all about themselves which some then shared with the whole class. In maths we have been looking at word problems using subtraction and have had lots of fun exploring Times table rockstars and Sumdog on the iPads!
For topic this week we have been experimenting with colour mixing, mixing colours that represent ourselves, making fruit bowls in cooking (I have attached the toast pictures from last week as well) and continuing to look at our bodies and organ function in science!
In PE we have continued with our yoga, this week we were jungle animals! The children shown great determination when practicing and acting out the poses!
Finally we finished the week with ICT and music! In ICT we looked at online safety as all children have now been assigned their own iPads, it is very important the children know how to stay safe when using them! Music was very loud this week! The children played their own Glockenspiels, together they all made wonderful, very loud, music.
Once again I am so incredibly proud of the resilience moonbeam have shown this week and hope you all have a lovely and restful weekend!
See you Monday!
