Spring Term - Week 2

The children are working really hard during their 'Good Morning Work' sessions. Lots of our children are now able to copy their names and overwrite their shapes or numbers. Some children are even having a go at this independently as well.

In Maths this week we have been looking at 2D shapes. The children have been able to sort by shape, identify the shapes and even describe some of their properties.

In Science we continued our work on animals but this week we looked at the different features of animals and how they all look different. The children worked together in small groups to sort a selection of animals into the correct categories. We had some great conversations about some tricky creatures.

Our Star of the Week this week was Oliver! Congratulations Oliver we are so proud at how you are joining in with circle times. Well done!
