Spring Term Week 1

Starburst have had a lovely first week back at school. We particularly enjoyed exploring the snow at the start of the week.

In phonics we are currently learning about environmental sounds, this week our focus is farm animals and the different sounds they make. 

In maths we are exploring numbers and counting through songs, this week our song choice is '5 little men in a flying saucer' we have used visuals to help support us with this. 

In identiplay we focus on modelling play to the children on a 1-1 basis, this week we have chosen farm animals to link in with our phonics. 

Our afternoon activity this week has been sensory food play. The children have the opportunity to explore different tastes and textures. 

Inbetween all our learning activities we have accessed/explored the different areas and resources within our classroom.
